1 Website and e-book

1.1 These terms govern your use of the Eastcourt Manor website (eastcourtmanor.co.uk) including the e-book (“Baking Bread by Hand”). By using the website you agree to these terms in full.
1.2 Eastcourt Manor provides no warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk.
1.3 Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions. All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website.
1.4 Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we put on your computer if you agree. The cookies we use are ‘analytical’ cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they’re using it. 2 Courses

2.1 The terms of these terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract between the customer and Eastcourt Manor.
2.2 You should attend punctually unless prevented by occurrences which are beyond your reasonable control.
2.3 You agree to comply with all instructions, rules and regulations issued by Eastcourt Manor from time to time.
2.4 Eastcourt Manor will be entitled to change the timing and/or content of any course at any time.
2.5 All amounts payable must be received before the event starts.
2.6 Cancellation of the event by you:

  • Less than one week before the event – no refund or transfer.
  • More than one week but less than one month before the event – if Eastcourt Manor is able to resell your place(s) we will issue a gift certificate or transfer your booking to another course of the same value.
  • More than one month’s notice – we will issue a gift certificate or transfer your booking to another course of the same value.

2.7 You are entitled to tranfer your place to another individual providing that we have had details at least 24hrs before the event begins.
2.8 Exceptions to this cancellation policy including refunds shall be solely at the discretion of Eastcourt Manor.
2.9 Gifts certificates must be used within 12 months of the purchase date. No refunds will be provided for gift certificates.
2.10 Eastcourt Manor will be entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of any amounts received from you in respect of the course which has been cancelled.
2.11 No two special offers or discounts can be used in conjunction with each other.
2.12 If Eastcourt Manor considers that you have behaved in an unacceptable manner we will be entitled to require you to leave the event.
2.13 Eastcourt Manor will not accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to any personal possessions.
2.14 Eastcourt Manor will not be liable for any loss or injury suffered by you which is indirect, special or consequential.
2.15 Eastcourt Manor will not be liable for any loss or injury suffered by you which is beyond our reasonable control.
2.16 The Contract shall be governed by English law.

3. Online shop

3.1 Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur Eastcourt Manor cannot accept your order. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.
3.2 You must contact us and be in receipt of a returns authorisation (RA) number before sending any item back. Any product without a RA number will not be refunded.
3.3 If when you receive your product(s), you are not completely satisfied you may return the items to us, within seven days of exchange or refund. Returns will take approximately 5 working days to be processed once the goods have arrived. Items must be in original packaging, in all original boxes, packaging materials, manuals blank warranty cards and all accessories and documents provided by the manufacturer.
3.5 We strongly recommend that you fully insure your package that you are returning. We suggest the use of a carrier that can provide you with a proof of delivery. Eastcourt Manor will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
3.6 All shipping back to Eastcourt Manor is paid for by the customer. We are unable to refund you postal fees.
3.7 Any product returned found not to be defective can be refunded within the time stated above and will be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover our administration costs. Goods found to be tampered with by the customer will not be replaced but returned at the customers expense.
3.8 If you are returning items for exchange please be aware that a second charge may apply.
3.9 No refunds of replacements will be made on discounted or end of line products.
3.10 We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your products ordered. Please contract us. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Eastcourt Manor immediately, this will be given special priority and you can expect to receive the correct item within 72 hours. Any incorrect items received all delivery charges will be refunded back onto you credit/debit card.
We aim to deliver within 3 working days but sometimes due to high order volume certain in sales periods please allow 4 days before contacting us. We will attempt to email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
3.11 English law shall apply to these terms and conditions and jurisdiction of the English courts shall apply exclusively to any dispute.

4 Security

4.1 We have taken the appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information is not unlawfully processed. Eastcourt Manor uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information, including firewalls, virus scanning and secure socket layers. We use trusted third parties to accept payments and course bookings on our behalf.
4.2 During the payment process, we ask for personal information that both identifies you and enables us to communicate with you.
4.3 We will use the information you provide only for the following purposes.

  • To send you newsletters and details of offers and promotions in which we believe you will be interested.
  • To improve the content, design and layout of the website.
  • To understand the interest and buying behavior of our users
  • To perform other such general marketing and promotional focused on our products and activities.
