Water crackers

Yummy water crackers. These are very quick to make – about 20 minutes from raw ingredients to finished crackers.

250g flour
150g water
1 tbsp olive oil
3/4tsp fine salt

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.

2. Combine all the ingredients. Knead very lightly until the dough forms a smooth ball.

3. Cut the dough into 3 pieces. Using plenty of flour to stop the dough sticking, roll each piece out as thinly as possible (about 1mm). If the dough is too springy to roll out leave it to relax for 5 minutes.

4. Put the dough pieces onto a lightly floured baking tray. Create an even series of holes across the dough using a fork or dough roller.

5. Bake for 10 minutes.
